Myotherapy

A form of manual therapy that focuses on the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It involves techniques such as trigger point therapy, dry needling, soft tissue mobilisation, and joint mobilisation to relieve muscle tension, improve mobility and address postural imbalances. Myotherapists assess the musculoskeletal system using orthopaedic and neuromusuclar techniques to identify the source and potential cause of pain and dysfunction. They then develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe rehabilitative exercises.
